Christie L. Martin grew up in Miami, Florida. She entered the U.S. Air Force directly out of high school, serving as a jet engine mechanic domestically and in Japan before leaving military service to work in the civilian aviation industry.

Christie focuses her practice on elder law and estate planning. Specifically, Christie has extensive experience in guardianships, conservatorships, probate, wills and trusts. Her clients consist primarily of individuals but she also represents hospitals and nursing and memory care facilities. She believes that elder law and estate planning are critically important, particularly as our nation's population ages. Her approach is simple: Focus on the individual. She meets clients wherever they feel most comfortable, including at their homes.

Christie also represents children in dependencies and is a state-certified guardian ad litem for adult guardianship proceedings.

Christie enjoys spending time with her family and four dogs, traveling and kayaking. Admittedly a Miami Dolphins fan, Christie is a proud supporter of the Portland Timbers.
